Maggie Dixon is a real estate company specialising in Whangarei property sales. The company has a unique character and a strong following of repeat customers. Their ‘Think Yellow’ branding is seen everywhere in Whangarei, from the fleet of yellow cars to the bright yellow moving van which is free for clients. 

Content management and a web design to express this unique personality and branding was required, including an audio player to play the regular radio show featuring Maggie Dixon.

At the back end, the site needed to connect to the real estate software they use for sales and property management – Real NZ Software and Console . Properties automatically uploaded from Real NZ Software can be selected for featuring on the home page within the content management system. Full search of properties including search of open homes is another feature.

Good SEO functionality within the CMS allows the site to be easily optimised by setting automatic page titles and meta tags which can then be edited. The website has now been live for 6 months, and is seeing a steady stream of visitors with good page views and time on site.

As of April 28, 2010, Maggie Dixon Real Estate is the first real estate agency in the North Island to receive the Real Estate Best Practice Accreditation, a process requiring an intensive audit and only awarded to the top 10% best performing real estate offices in Australia & New Zealand.
