There are many mounting options as well as environmental considerations to take into account when designing kiosk enclosures.
We have a huge amount of experience in dealing with the particular challenges created by placing a computer-driven device in the public domain. Our product design partners Fulcrum Limited also bring many years of experience in working with different materials and finishes.
Signage is another important part of the kiosk environment that is often overlooked.We have partners in this area that can help you with your particular needs when it comes to making your kiosk visible in an already cluttered retail space. Off- the-shelf enclosures have some advantages in that the manufacturer has thought through many of the potential problems and dealt with them. The down side of these can be that you will have to choose from generic enclosures that may not suite your specific needs.
Proven Kiosk Hardware
Currently our most popular kiosk platform is the NCR EasyPoint 42 , which typically has a thermal printer and a Mag Stripe reader attached. If your project includes EFTPOS or Credit Card Processing, we have a Custom pinpad enclosure which integrates with the kiosk and allows you to process all EFTPOS & Credit Cards currently in circulation(+), including EMV cards. You must have a merchant account obviously. Your bank will provide this, we can help you to understand the process.
Another kiosk we use is NCR Real Pos 70 which is a portable unit with similar specs to the 7402, but without the printer option. We recently supplied this kiosk for NCR Corporation which enables us to offer a large range of Kiosks and Kiosk add ons, with support options up to 24/7 on-site service.
