Microsoft .NET is our main web development platform. It's a common and well accepted technology throughout the world, so .NET web applications integrate well with many business applications, SQL server, and web services. .NET websites are well supported and widely hosted, with most graduate web developers familiar with the tools.

The Microsoft .NET Framework is a mature and proven foundation that's designed to enable high developer productivity.

Microsoft ASP.NET (including ASP.NET AJAX) is designed to enable developers to build rich Web applications. ASP.NET and Silverlight use a mix of declarative and imperative programming models to help make layout and coding highly productive.

ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Web Forms are different programming models which we use to create ASP.NET Web applications.
